
Our elegant, organically grown Darjeeling tea comes from one of the finest Himalayan tea gardens and is known as “the Champagne of teas”. There are only about 80 tea gardens in the region. Our Golden tea is the pinnacle of the area's tea-making expertise and is grown at great altitudes of up to 6,000 feet in the misty, mountainous foothills of Darjeeling in North East India. The cool moist climate and natural minerals present in the soil combine to produce this delicate, highly prized tea.
Lively, luxurious and rounded to taste, it marries smooth subtle tones with a delicious aroma. One of the finest autumnal or second flush teas.
Directions: Pour freshly boiled water on to the sachet. Infuse for 2-5 minutes. Given the quality of this delicate infusion, try drinking without milk.
