
Paklum is the most stylish of the Congou from the Fujian province of China. It has a small twisted leaf, the better grade showing considerable white or golden tips.
It develops harmoniously on the tongue. It was extremely well favoured in the 19th Century and rightly so – it is bright and flavourful in the cup and sweet and pleasant to taste.
Directions: Allow boiled water to cool for at least a minute. Preheat the teapot and add 2 grams (a teaspoon) per person. Infuse the tea for 3-5 minutes according to taste.
