
Our mild Traditional Indian Chai is blended particularly with the Western palate in mind with luxurious organically-grown spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and cloves.
Chai could almost be called the national drink of India, consumed by everyone from infants to septuagenarians; in the largest cities and the smallest villages. Across India, there are literally thousands of different chai recipes - each family has its own particular favourite recipe.
Directions: Infuse the sachet in freshly brewed water for 2-4 minutes. Drink with or without milk. Sweeten with sugar to taste.
Chai Latte: For a lower caffeine alternative to cappuccino, place a sachet in a cup, half fill with boiling water and allow to infuse for 2-4 minutes. Top up with warmed milk, preferably frothed or steamed.
With Food: Not surprisingly, the spicy taste of Indian Chai is delicious with a curry.
