Cool down and freshen
up with our delicious
summer drinks

With a 100 year family history of not only growing, but drinking plenty of rooibos in the sunny climes of South Africa, we have some favourite thirst-quenching and hydrating recipes that are all naturally caffeine-free.

Also, unlike iced black teas, rooibos iced teas won’t go bitter and will last in the fridge as happy as penguins for 3 days.

All rooibos teas make delightful iced drinks, but especially delicious are Tick Tock Original, Rooibos Breakfast, Rooibos Mint, Rooibos Vanilla, Rooibos Camomile and Cape Malay Rooibos Chai.

• 4 or 5 Rooibos teabags or sachets
• 2 litres water
• Honey, sugar or lemon to taste

Boil 1/2 litre of water, add the bags, honey, sugar or lemon. Leave for 5 minutes and then add the rest of the water and a big glass of crushed ice.

• 5 Rooibos Evening Blend or Camomile teabags
• 1 litre water
• 500ml apple juice
• Slices of lemon, apple or orange to garnish

Steep the teabags in freshly boiled water for approximately 20 minutes. Chill, add apple juice and garnish.

• 4 Cape Malay Rooibos Chai teabags
• 450ml water
• 2 scoops vanilla ice cream or 125g plain yoghurt
• 1 banana (optional, but delicious)

Steep the teabags in freshly boiled water for approximately 20 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and blitz until frothy.

• 50ml good quality rum
• 1 tsp honey
• 5 sprigs of mint
• 2 tbsp sugar syrup
• 150ml water
• 1 Tick Tock Rooibos Green teabag

Steep the teabag in freshly boiled water for approximately 2 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients. Alternatively try with our Moonlight Jasmine Green Tea or Chung Mee Pure Green Tea.
