What the press says
We're always happy to receive praise for our teas; here's some of the kind reviews we've had from the press :
A healthy oriental infusion
Dragonfly's yellow tea is a rare and precious newcomer. Like most Chinese things, it is of course incredibly old, civilised and imperial. When our viking ancestors were still using their beards as napkins, the Chinese were sipping this delicate brew and describing the leaf buds used to make it as "yellowish green jade swords wrapped in silver arrows".

We're loving Dragonfly Teas' enticingly different range … including delicately-flavoured Moonlight jasmine Tea, Swirling Mist White Tea (jam-packed with health-boosting antioxidants) and a selection of rooibos teas from South Africa.

In an article on green teas:
Best Jasmine Tea : Dragonfly Organic Moonlight Jasmine Tea
Jasmine is considered to be a relaxant and anti-depressant – blended
with green tea it makes a calming infusion. Delicate Jasmine flowers are laid
onto the tea until the fragrance is absorbed. "A delicate refreshing
flavour. The sweet scent of the Jasmine comes through – ideal for a
soothing late night drink."
Best Mint Tea : Dragonfly Organic Moroccan Mint Tea
A harmonious blend of Arab and Oriental flavours; invigorating gunpowder green
tea and natural aromatic spearmint, which is recognised as a digestive aid.
"This tea makes the perfect after dinner drink with a well-rounded, delicate
mint flavour. Naturally sweet – would make a wonderful iced tea."
Dragonfly was the only tea company to get 'Best Tea' in two out of the six green tea types reviewed in this article.

If you love tea but herbal's not your thing, opt for a cup from the Dragonfly Tea range. Made from real tea leaves, they’re low in tannin and high in anti-oxidants. Cup-in-the-Sleeve tea is low in caffeine and tastes less bitter than other green teas.

…my favourite among those tasted was Rooibos Vanilla, while Rooibos Earl grey was a very clever tea; the subtle use of Bergamot oil brought out the fragrance of Bergamot oranges without overwhelming the Rooibos elements. It made my cook's fingers start to twitch as I thought of recipe ideas.

Exquisite green teas from China which are sure to set you, for 2006, on the path of "Wu-Xin" – Chinese for a state of inner calm and a sense of overall well-being. Tea drinking will take on a new dimension, bringing ancient Chinese values of clarity, serenity and strength into an altogether more holistic approach to your health and lifestyle. Now that's what I call a serious tea!
