In the beginning...

Bruce Ginsberg, the inspiration behind Dragonfly teas and also its owner continues a long tradition of tea-making that has its roots in one of Russia’s most famous tea families.

According to family legend, Benjamin Ginsberg, the man who “discovered” Rooibos tea, lived with his maternal great uncle while at school in Moscow. The family were a legendary Russian tea dynasty and the house must have been a hot bed of talk of tea, tea parties and bubbling samovars.
