Leaf Teas of Distinction

This rare and unusual hand-made tea is hand rolled into the shape of a pearl. The still not quite dry leaves are layered with fresh, delicately smelling jasmine blossoms up to 6 times, then sieved to remove the blossoms and rolled before being individually wrapped in silk or tissue to dry in shape.

This leaf shape ensures that each tea pearl encloses the fine jasmine aroma and only sets it free during brewing.

The 'two leaves and a bud' are revealed as they gently unfurl like flowers during the infusion – a glass cup allows you to watch. In the cup the tea has an elegant champagne colour, a fresh bouquet and a delicate flavour.
